This was a short Cairn 2e campaign, meant to do a number of things: serve as a simple starting place for players new to TTRPGs and intimidated by more rules-heavy systems; test out Cairn’s campaign structure; and test how a homebrew adventure would work out in such a system. This is a Call of Cthulhu 7e long-term campaign with a cast of 4 regular characters and a couple of guest appearances. Our four primary investigators are Gambler, Museum Curator, Animal Trainer, and Asylum Attendant. This is an online level 1-20 Dungeons & Dragons 5e/5.5e campaign. Sessions are bi-weekly, and range from 2.5-3 hours long. The party consists of a wizard, sorcerer, cleric, and 2 warlocks. The original party consisted of a druid, a cleric, a monk, a fighter, a paladin, and a rogue. After scheduling conflicts, we eventually settled into a consistent group of fighter, monk, paladin.
